A Week Without The Internet
A week without the internet would probably affect me greatly. I love using Pinterest and Wanelo, and without the internet that wouldn’t be possible. The internet has become a great part of everyone’s lives, even if we don’t realize it. Other than using the internet on my phone, maybe I wouldn’t beaffected that greatly because I do other things than surf the web, but I would feel a little lost without it.
If I Were A Principal at Parry McClure High...
If I were a principal at Parry McClure High School… I would make sure that student’s educational needs were met. More academic classes would be
brought into the environment, including more teachers to teach them. I would also allow students to have more freedom than we do know. for example: phone usage, internet access, drinks and snacks in classrooms.

What I Would Like The World to Be In Five Hundred Years.
I would like to see the world a peaceful place in five hundred
years. No more shootings and violence, just peace. This world is full with hate
more than ever now, and maybe as time goes on something will give.

What I Would Do In Five Hundred Years.
Five hundred years in a very long time to live. Honestly, I’m not quite sure what I am going to do in my 75-80 years life span, let alone five hundred. I would have to say that I make sure I live life to the fullest. Eighty years is not a long time to accomplish everything you would dream of. So I would do anything and everything that involves risk and being a daredevil. I’d learn every trick and trade in motocross, living life to the fullest. Instead of hiking Mt. Everest once, I would do it twenty times just because it would be a different experience eveytime.
Success?
1. What is your personal definition of success?
a. When I feel successful, it isn’t determined by winning or losing, but mainly that feel good feeling you get right after you have accomplished something. It is not determined by another person’s opinion or could be graded on a scale. Success to me is when you have tried your hardest and did all you could, whether you made it to the top or not, you put in your best efforts.
2. What is the class in high school you feel you are the most successful at? Why?
a. I feel that I am most successful in our art class because you are free to express yourself. As long as you have tried with you best efforts, you can always be successful and come out on top.
3. How has this school contributed to that success? How has your parents contributed to that success?
a. The art teacher we have at this school has helped me become successful by not letting me give up. Even though art is my passion, it can be very difficult sometimes and I feel that I want to quit on something and forget about it. But that’s when my teacher and family steps in and they let me know that quitting is easy, but that feeling of regret when you haven’t accomplished something is much harder to get rid of.
4. What are the most valuable lessons you learn from
success?
a. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned would be never to give up. Not only because quitting will never get you anywhere in life, but that regret is something that can make you feel completely miserable. I would rather grit my teeth through a tough project and feel some sort of accomplishment in the end, instead of quitting and feeling nothing but regret and failure because I didn’t true my best.
5. Now, what is the class you are the least successful in? Why?
a. The class I am least successful in would have to be chemistry because even though I know I try, I don’t try my hardest which means I haven’t reached my point of success, yet.
6. What are the most valuable lessons you learned
from failure?
a. The most valuable lesson I have learned from failure, is to always pick your head up and try again. Even though you might not have a chance to try again, always learn from your mistakes and not to let it be repeated again. No one wants to experience failure, but failure is what gives us that drive to accomplish great things. I never regret my failures in life, but I look at them as a sign telling me not to feel sorry for myself, but to get back up and try harder. When I fail, I at least know that I tried, and I have found success in my failure.

Remembering That Special Someone In 10 Years
One thing that has happened to me that I would like to remember in 10 years is meeting my boyfriend Nicholas. Ever since I have met this amazing guy my life has been so much better! I can see myself being with this person for the rest of my life. He makes me smile uncontrollably, laugh for no reason at all, and love unconditionally. Nicholas has been the best thing in my life since fried pickles. <3
My Proudest Accomplishment
My greatest accomplishment is finding my true calling; motocross. I’ve just started riding dirt bikes a few months ago, but since then I have been such a happier person. Riding is just a huge stress reliever and just a great way to have fun. I have found myself wanting to do more with this type of sport and being open to so much more opportunities in life. My goals have changed for the better and so has the outlook for my future. I want to take this talent to the next level with races and completion’s. I’m proud to admit that I want to be a professional motocross rider and that I want to do more with my future in this sport. Yes, it is a very dangerous sport and it is mostly a guy’s sport, but that just makes me want to do it more! So in the future I hope to me known nationally and that will be my greatest accomplishment.
My Favorite Concept Phone.
My favorite concept phone would have to be the HTC 1. I like this phone because it is sleek, and the fact that it would have stereo speakers at the top and bottom of the phone, makes me even more excited. This phone also says that it has a UV light to kill and germs on the screen of the phone while
it is charging. And that is great in my case because I am always getting sick and I feel like that would be great phone for me!

My Five Biggest Burdens And Why I Am Thankful For The Lessons They Have Tought Me.
-Living with my Grandfather far away from school and friends. Although I love my grandfather to death, it has been quite a burden to live so far away from everything. I am very thankful though for a place to stay with an amazing person who cares about me. So even though it is a little bit of a burden to drive 20 minutes to school every day, I’m alright with that as long as I still get to see my friends and live with my grandfather.
-Not having a stable home. Moving here and there my whole life, I’ve been accustomed to living out of a suitcase and making a place into a home wherever I am welcomed. Moving in and out of my house to friends or families has been quite an adventure for me. Not having a secure location to truly call home, has been a burden on me. But keeping that in mind, I have realized that home is where ever the heart is, and I am so thankful to
have some sort of home.
-Having friends and family so far away. With my best friends living seven hundred and some miles away, and my mother four hours away, long distance relationships are something I’ve adjusted to. Although it’s hard not to see them every day, I am still thankful for the fact I have them. For people that say long distance relationships don’t work, you have to actually want them to work and care. My mother had been away for seven years
now, and even though I only get to see her every other weekend, I am still very thankful for her.
-Not being close with my brother. My brother and I haven’t really been as close as I would like to be. Not until this year have we really begun to have great conversations with each other. I do feel bad about not being that close with him, but then again I am just thankful that I have a brother who is there for me whenever I would need him.
-Being underestimated. When people keep saying you “cant” although your life and doubting you, I think that it is a burden to carry. But, the lesson I have learned in life, is to prove them wrong. Show them that you CAN and that you WILL. All you need is willpower. I think that is the most important lesson I have learned in life so far and I am thankful for those people that told me I couldn’t make it, because they gave the fire I didn’t have to make it.

How To Stomp Out Bullying At Schools
The simple way to stomp out bullying is to just love! But love is something not all of us are capable of doing these days due to the fact people are afraid to express their feelings because they’re afraid of being bullied. If all of us were to just get along and not say the hurtful things we do, there would be no need for bullying. The real question in this matter is why do we bully? Maybe it’s to make ourselves feel better, or have that feeling of dominating one another? Or maybe your hurting inside from being bullied yourself and you want to hurt someone else? Whatever the situation or problem is, bulling is not the right answer. To put someone else down for the pain you feel, or for your own satisfaction, is completely irresponsible and immature. If the school administrators really want to help stomp out bullying, then they have to be able to listen and understand. Not every child that is being bullied is going to go to the next adult they see and tell them everything that’s on their mind, and they’re definitely not going to go talk to their guidance counselor. The bullies might see them as week and things could get much worse for that child. However that kid won’t have anyone to talk to and let them vent to. So what we have to do as a school body is to just listen to someone if they come to you with a problem. What you do NOT do is blow the situation off to another day, thinking that everything will be okay till the next day. You have no idea how long that child has been bullied and how long they can keep going on. Take control of the situation! Have the child that is being bullied and the one that is doing the bullying, sit down together in a room and just talk it out. Let them be alone were no one else can hear their conversation, and let them get to the bottom of it themselves. People believe by just having “stomp out” bullying month is going to stop the situation, sadly to say this; it might have a very small impact, but nothing that is actually going to make a change. We have to step up and actually make a difference by listening to these kids! If people were to hear these kids out, and look out for bullying, so many hurt feelings would be spared. We have to realize that bullies aren’t going to care if they “get punished”, they are still going to say hurtful things to others! We have to get to the bottom of why that person says hurtful things. If you see someone bullying another person, don’t laugh about it, or shake it off. Actually do something, and make a difference. Report it if you have to. I’m not saying get in the middle of the situation, but at least try to make a difference for once. If you were being bullied, wouldn’t you want someone to help you out?
What I Would Say To A Million People
Something I would say to a million people is to keep your head up, and don’t let anyone get you down. So many times in life we go by what other people think, and honestly, their opinion does not matter. You are in this world to accomplish something for yourself, not others. At some point in life, we need to put ourselves in front of others, and worry about us at first. I’m not saying become selfish and heartless, but what I am saying, is that sometimes it’s better to care about yourself before others. Or else you will just lose yourself in them, and the real you won’t exist anymore. We all need to take a stand and be ourselves, and not let people keep running us over. If you know something is wrong, speak up! Don’t sit there in tears and put yourself through pain, stand up for yourself and be heard. We all have a purpose, and none of us could accomplish this if we are living in each other’s shadows or just in a miserable mess! Make something of yourself, and do not wallow in your unhappiness, you could be stuck there for your entire life. Even if you are in the worse possible situation you could ever be in, there is always going to be a light at the end of the tunnel. You may think you won’t be able to make it out, but you can, and you will! Maybe there is someone in your life, who is hurting you or bullying you, and you don’t know what to do, you just want to end your life and be done with everything? Don’t. Stand up to that person and make them know that it is not okay to do those things. Don’t let anyone get you down! You are an amazing person and you don’t deserve to be treated like a piece of garbage. We are all
special individuals and we all have something to live for. Don’t hurt yourself because you’re in pain, in the end, it will only lead to more grief and
unhappiness and will not help you. You may think at the time, it’s the only way out and that it helps so much, but that’s not the truth. There are other ways than harming yourself or others for that fact. Stomp out the bullying and suicides, you are much greater than all of those things! We are our own person and no one should have the power to strip away our freedom as an individual. So stand up for yourself and be heard! Enjoy life!

Technology
I feel like technology has made my relationship with my friends
and other worse. It’s all just about technology and people competing with
others. Especially when dealing with Facebook. I feel as if technology has
ruined us and the way we think. You can find anything and everything on with
internet. Which isn’t so bad at first, but it isn’t the best. When I talk to my
friends its always over a text or chat through Facebook. Nothing is face to
face any more these days.

One Thing I Can't Live Without
One thing I can’t live without is my smart phone.
It has all of my music and friends, and they are my life. I know
that seems very cliché, but it is true. Not only is
texting great, but it’s mainly just my way to stay tuned in with the world.
So if I were to go without my phone for a week, I might be in a
little bit of trouble. I would have no sense of direction at all. I would just
feel lost not being able to communicate with others and having no music at all.
I would end up having to listen to CD’s all the time just to feel complete.
